A Daughter’s Story

BBQ made with love and always sealed with a kiss! Virginia IS for Lovers after all, right?

ROWDYDOW's roots go back to the mid 1970s when Angela’s Dad, Brian P., served in the Army and decided to stay in the Virginia Beach area. That's when he fell in love with smoking pork BBQ. He never cut corners then, and neither do we now.

Lucky to be born 'n raised in Virginia, Angela was inspired back in 2007 to start her own business. She was told she needed a big idea.

So her BIG idea?

To ask her Dad for his infamous BBQ recipe and the rest is history for the BBQ Lovin' world. ROWDYDOW's roots go back to the mid 1970s

For over a decade and two million pounds of pulled pork and brisket BBQ later, we've been working with Chefs around the country, in Mexico and the Bahamas to serve our authentically smoked ROWDYDOW on their menus. We've even proudly made a mark helping feed our Army, Navy Troops and were named an Air Force preferred supplier.

All of this hustle paid off by 2018 when ROWDYDOW exponentially grew by more than 269% landing the #1701 spot on the coveted INC. Magazine 5000 list.

BBQ AnyDay AnyWay. Always ROWDYDOW. Now we're here to change up the 'when and how' we all think to make, eat and talk BBQ. In other words, we're here with passion, to take BBQ Beyond the Backyard with modern recipe twists giving you a reason to put BBQ on your everyday grocery cart list!

We’re proud to have been chosen by the US AirForce as their preferred supplier, and help feed many hungry Army, Navy and Marines serving around the world!

Other big name customers we’ve provided delicious BBQ to for their menus include: Lifetime Fitness, Regal Cinemas, Schlotsky’s, Tropical Smoothie, Sysco, DOT Foods, USFoods, and Walmart.

For Over a DECADE…

ROWDYDOW BBQ’s been having fun selling more than 2,000,000 pounds of BBQ to chefs around the country, into Mexico, the Bahamas, and now we’re ready to pivot and bring ROWDYDOW BBQ FROM OUR SMOKERS TO YOUR KITCHEN!

But first, Angela knew she needed a one-of-a-kind name for this infamous BBQ. Armed with a hand-written recipe in hand, she got fun and creative.
